I have seen something I like, now what should I do?

Each item on DanceAgain is held by it’s owner. If you have a question about an item, you must contact the owner directly. Click on the email link that you will find in the ad to send your message.

What is the best way to arrange payment?

We highly recommend sellers create a PayPal account. This is by far the safest way to pay and offers several payment options and guarantees.

I have just sold my item, what is the best way to package it for mailing?

All types of boxes and packing materials can be purchased at your local office supply store, UPS or USPS. Pack your item to insure it does not get damaged in shipment making sure it does not shift in the box. Use packing tape to seal your box. If you use newspaper or the like in place of bubble wrap or Styrofoam chips, wad it up and put it in a plastic grocery bag to prevent the ink from staining your item.

I am in one country and the buyer in another, how do I arrange payment?

We try to keep are listings in the local Midwest area. But you do have a choice. The buyer can send you a cheque in their own currency or an international money order in your currency. Please check with your bank first before accepting a cheque for a foreign currency amount. You will find that it will take longer to clear, sometimes several weeks and you may be charged higher bank fees to cover the exchange. You also may be affected by fluctuating exchange rates and may not get the same amount you expected! Your buyer will be able to obtain an international money order from their bank and have it made out for the exact amount you both agreed on.

Should I buy insurance when I ship my item?

YES!! Insurance doesn’t cost much and could save you a lot of heartache if  your item is lost or damaged in transit. It’s a small amount to pay in order to protect your investment.

My item has been listed for a while now and still has not sold, any suggestions?

Is your price too high? Is it out of date? Check other listings or check on EBay to see what similar items are selling for. Consider adding “or best offer” to your ad. This will give you a better idea of what people would be willing to pay for your item.

Are your photos clear? Do they show the item at it’s best? If not, try taking some new making sure you have the correct lighting and are always clear. Crop the photo and remove any busy background. We can help you make your photo look its best and there is no charge for this service. Just send us an email attaching your photo and explaining what you would like us to do.

Could your description be better? Have as many details about your item in the ad as possible. Include it’s age colours, fabrics, where it was made and by whom, describe the design and inclusions etc.

How can I work out how much it will cost to ship my item to the buyer?

USPS, UPS, and FedEx all having shipping calculators to help you calculate shipping charges. Make sure you have the accurate weight of the item. If you don’t have a shipping scale you can pack it up weigh it on your household scale. First weigh yourself, and then get on the scale holding the item. The difference is your shipping weight. Of course you can always go to your local post office your UPS store and they will weigh it for you.

My buyer has received the item, but they aren’t happy. What should I do?

Please specifically state in your ad whether or not your item is returnable, whether or not you will refund the buyers money and if you have a stated period within which you will accept a return (e.g. two weeks, 30 days, etc). Make sure this is stated up front before you accept payment! If your item is returnable request:

1.  The buyer must inform you immediately upon receipt of the package that it is unsuitable and that they would like to return it.

2.  Give the buyer a specified time limit within which to return the item. For example, they must return within 2 days, 2 weeks or 30 days, etc.

3.  The item must be returned to you in the exact condition it was in when you sent it. If the item is worn, damaged or altered in any way, you are under no obligation to accept its return.

5.  I would advise you not to refund the money until you have received the item back and verify it is alright.

Is it possible to make changes to my ad once it’s listed?

Yes, you can make unlimited free changes to your ad. Simply sign into your dashboard to make any changes.

I have a good photo of my item but don’t want my daughter or family member’s face to show…

No problem, send me your best photo and we will Photoshop it so only the item show.
